Shooting a coyote at 840yds…

This is one I shot at 600 with my 22-250 AI and 88 ELDMs. Not sure how I shot over his back, but connected on the follow up.

Got lucky with my thermal. 22 creed and 77 TMK. 644 yards. Took me a while to find it in the snow and sage.

Even at that distance?

Well, it’s the only one at that distance so far, so not exactly a huge data set, but she was laying five feet from where she was standing when I whumped her. She flopped around a bit.

But I have a pile killed in the 400-600 yard range. Probably 400-500 total (most in the 300-600 yard range unfortunately) and I can just about count on one hand the issues I’ve had off the top of my head. And most of those were going to be issues no matter what as they were just bad hits.

Next farthest was 884 in this thread, he went about 100 yards but it was a crap hit. But he was dead when I got to him.
