I've been talking with @Formidilosus, @PNWGATOR, @B_Reynolds_AK, and others about a Shoot2Hunt course in Alaska this year. We are currently aiming for a timeframe around 1-5 August, using the same location as the NRL hunter event. Lodging would be in either the Trapper Creek or Cantwell areas. At this point, we're just trying to see if there's enough interest to make it worthwhile. Cost is TBD, but will be less than the Montana courses because it will be on state land. We'd need a minimum of 5-6 people. Let us know what you think!

Jake is in the loop and will be putting something together on the S2H website next week to promote it / gauge interest.

Can you post the direct link to the actual class information? The S2H website won't load anything but the home page for me no matter what I try to do.

It’ll totally be sunny/65 and no wind. Zero % chance of rain. Those hills outside of Healy have the most predictable weather patterns - KTUU Weather man probably

It might be sunny, but in the vicinity of windy pass, the winds are promised to be above 50kts.

I hope this works out.

I'm out though, already have a hunt planned with other people for the 1st through 7th, and I have to request PTO 5 months in advance, so no way to try and slide things around at this point.

Nothing there yet. The idea of this class was floated recently to try and gauge interest to try and get it going for this year.

Jake is going to put something on the website later this week per a conversation we had yesterday.

If your are interested, send an email directly to the S2H and they can give you more info.

Where’s Reuben Eaton III when you need him? He’d give us the right forecast.
