Shipping brown bear hide

I'm being given a brown bear hide from my wife's grandparent's house and need to ship it to me. My in laws are going to pull it down and ship it for me but I'm trying to coordinate logistics as much as possible.

I'm trying to figure out what size box would be needed to ship it - any thoughts on size would be greatly appreciated

Just roll up the skin and ship it if it's already tanned. The last brown bear skin I had a few months ago fit in a 30x30x30. It's just a skin not a mount correct?
