I just purchased used swarovski optics. I'm going to send them in for cleaning and inspection. For those of you who have had to send optics in, what's the best way to ship them? Ups, usps, fedex...? Also what did insurance run? Thanks

Not sure about the return but what do you believe is a fair price for swaro binoculars. I've decided to by a some 10x42 els used is preferable but I'm note sure what a good price should be. After buying used due you wish you would have bought new
Thanks robert

I'm not sure I'm the right person to ask. I found the glass local and asked a lot of questions here.

I sent mine in via USPS. More convenience than anything else.

I paid 1000 for my ELs with swarobright off Ebay.

I sent in my 10x42 ELs with USPS in their priority box and added $1500 insurance to it. Cost me $39.00 from Oklahoma and was guaranteed delivery in two days. I bought my pair off eBay for $1275 dollars and felt like that was a good deal. When they came back from Swarovski they were basically a brand new pair of binoculars. Excellent service.

Cost me $42 to ship my el range binos to Swarovski via UPS. Had a much better experience with their customer service than I did when I sent in a scope.

Thanks for the replies. I'm going to be sending in a pair of binos and a spotting scope
