WTS Shipping a bow press

Has anyone sold and shipped a bow press on here? Im contemplating selling mine and all the online quotes Ive done are $100 or more. Would it come out cheaper if I actually go to a store and get a quote in person? Thanks in advance.

I've never shipped a bow press but I have shipped lots of large items. Typically for me FedEx is the cheapest of the big 3. If it's really big it's always cheapest to go with Fastenal if you have one near you. The buyer also needs one close by so they can pick it up. You can also look into doing terminal to terminal at FedEx. The buyer will pick up at local terminal instead of being delivered to their home. Hope this helps..
