Sheep hunting shelters tents or tarps

What are some of you’re guys favorite ways to do this way out on a walk in sheep hunt kuiu 1p is looking nice in my eyes but I’m interested to here others experience with rocking a 1 person or just a tarp or a 2 person tent? (Im gonna be attempting my first sheep hunt next year)

I wouldn’t do a tarp bivy.

Best in the wind on open Mountain is a tipi or 4 season.

I have a tipi but would use my tarptent Dbl Rainbow

Completely forgot about the fact this is not just an Alaska form. Sorry most of the forms I’m in are. And for the most part mid season so September time frame in the brooks range

I currently use a Kuiu storm star 2 which I like for alpine sheep hunting. I use the Kuiu with confidence. I have also seen and /or heard of the MSR HUBBA HUBBA, SG and various Hilliberg tents being used. Discussed a lot on here if you use the search function on specific tents.

If you plan to only hunt alone a 1 person to save weight. Otherwise a two person do you don’t need multiple tents. My 2c
