My daughter pulled what's basically a once in a life time tag this year. Just to complicate matters a little she had her first child July 18 so the Aug. 1st opener was out. lol 8 weeks after my grandson was born we hit the mountains for a 5 day hunt- about as long as she could leave the new one with her husband. Not a lot of time but I was fortunate enough be able to do a few scouting trips in before we left. Early sightings of rams were good but finding them got harder and harder the more I went out to look. Day 2 we found a band of 8 rams and after a 5 hr hike that involved a 2000 ft descent and 2500 ft ascent up the other side she dropped the biggest in the bunch with a single 350 yd shot.
