I'd have to have the spotter pocket sitting in front of me, but is it easy to attach those on each side of the pack? I want one for my hydration bladder and the other would work great for the spotter. Is it possible to run the compression straps under these pockets and compress everything else without compressing them at all? And is it possible to remove the plastic easily if I so desired?
 
Nice. Those camp pockets are a good idea. I love my Kifaru pull-outs, but eveything eventually migrates together at the bottom of the pack. Would be nice to see a couple different sizes.

I will wholeheartedly 2nd this statement from Ryan. As that has certainly been my experience with Kurt from the first time I spoke with him over 2 years ago. Just a super guy, who also provides exceptional CS. A real pleasure to deal with!

Yes it is easy to attach the spotting scope pocket, but I would suggest that you remove one on the compression buckles first to sleeve the webbing, then reattach. I think it was designed to ride on the back of the pack, so you could compress everything without compressing the pocket. Personally, I would leave the plastic but maybe sew on some webbing loops. I'll probably play around with this after Fall season.

I'll try to film a quick video to give you a better idea of the pocket.

I have had the same CS experience with SG. Can't wait to haul a big-n out this fall. I plan to use Kifaru pullouts inside the SG interior bag/pockets. I can separate the different "kits" and still have no migration.
 
When will the hydro holster be available? , Looks like what I have been looking for,

Thanks for taking the time to put all this out there Ryan. I too have enjoyed interacting with Kurt. I'll take a bunch of pictures on my sheep hunt next week and show how I set mine up. Being a rifle hunter mine will differ a bit. Thanks again!

When I put a 35L dry bag between the Solo and frame, and then load up the Solo, my pack is already way deep behind me. That's why I'd rather put the pockets on the sides and go out from there instead of even further back away from my body. And if I put the bladder in the pocket on the back, the hose can barely reach around. On the side it won't even be an issue.

Good point 5MilesBack. For your scenario, you should have more than enough compression strap webbing to attach the pockets.

My two spotting scope pockets showed up yesterday. I'm not sure if they changed them or not, but the buckles on the Sky 7400 fit through the plastic perfectly without having to modify/cut anything. I'll get it all dialed in and try to make my quiver cover this weekend and get some photos of it.
 
I received the Hydro Holster and Camp Pocket for my Sky 7400 today. I am excited to play around with it this weekend. I may not have time to get pics up prior to my sheep hunt, but Ryan has done a great job showing them off.

For those of you utilizing, or planning to utilize, the camp pocket... What are you putting in there? I have a few small ditty bags I had been using. I only have 1 camp pocket now, but might order an additional one depending on how it goes during the sheep hunt.

I'm ditching the water bladder in favor of some new water bottles Kurt pointed me out to. This will give me more versatility in my pack and I think it will work out great. I'll still be able to carry 80+ ozs of water, but will be able to shift around vs. one big bladder.

20oz Camelbak bottle in the hydro holster. In recent years I have struggled with cramping so I plan to throw some Wilderness Athlete Hydrate and Recover mix in there and chug one of those a day. I will then have two Vapur 1L bottles in my pack. Will rotate as needed.

For camp water we use the Platy Water Tank or the Nalgene Cantene as needed. I have struggled a bit with the bladder so looking forward to this new system.

For the camp pockets, I'm keeping my "necessities" in there. I don't plan on removing them, so when I switch from the 5100 mode to the 3500 mode, I'll still have the things that I always carry for all my hunts. One pocket will carry all of my deboning supplies (meat bags, gloves, marking tape, string, etc...) and the other will have my first aid and miscellaneous kit (flashlight, batteries, wallet, hunting license, etc...)
