Anyone one else have trouble setting
Up this shelter and is adding the mesh insert worth it, or sell and get a free standing shelter?

I like mine. I do have the mesh insert, which I never take out. It is pretty easy once you set it up a couple of times. Check out the setup video on SG's website. I have a couple of different tents for different situations, and if I could only have one it would be my two man.

Thanks for the reply, maybe I’ll look into getting the mesh for early season and then I’ll get a free standing for mid to late!

I was I. The same boat...I ended up buying the vestibule and an Borah Bivy instead of the mesh insert.

Any issues of condensation in the bivy or tarp? Only reason I ask is this will be my first year running down...

had a small amount in the bivy, but it was cold and zipped up almost fully most of the night. I also was pretty close to water. I don't think I. had much at all on the tarp.
