How much warmer is Baffle Box construction? Anyone with first-hand experience testing similar fill jackets or seen any real reviews out there?

How much warmer is Baffle Box construction? Anyone with first-hand experience testing similar fill jackets or seen any real reviews out there?

I don’t have any experience with baffle constructed jackets, but I can tell a pretty significant difference with quilts, and I imagine jackets wouldn’t be any different.

I used to work as an expedition outfitter for Feathered Friends in Seattle, and heard back from different climbing teams that they estimated baffle construction jackets to be around 30 percent warmer than their sewn through counterparts.
It is anecdotal, but seems about right to me in my experience.

They eliminate cold spots and allow the down to fully loft. Gonna be bulkier to wear but definitely warmer.
