Sevr and quiver issues! Help

So I am going to try the sevr 2.1’s and 1.5’s this year but I am having an issue when putting them in a tightspot quiver! The tabs that deploy the blades come in to contact with the rubber insert and the blades are going to cut the band and deploy.

Any hacks?

Thinking about getting foam and cutting a spot for the tabs/wings and using foam instead of the rubber?

Any other fixes? I guess I could try a new quiver but would prefer not to go that route.

I ran into a similar issue with sevr last year with ‘bumping’ my quiver, adding the late season cold weather....the bands broke quite easily. After many sits I determined that a COC was for me as it was (for me) near impossible to avoid bumping my arrow or the cold weather.

I did take a mule deer last October with a 2.1 sevr and it was quite effective, however how I hunt/move/transport my bow mechanicals are not for me no matter how much I want to use them.

Tight spot makes a mid quiver grabber. Probably use that and just keep the tips in the hood put away from the rubber. Not ideal but I think it would work. Pretty certain they only make it for the 5 arrow.

I would add the second arrow grabber/holder and just put the tip in the cutout. I have a Quivalizer now which has a pretty similar rubber hood insert but have used them with tight spot as well. I am careful how far I push them in and unless they precut slots/holes are wallowed out you shouldn’t have to put the tip in far enough to reach the blade tabs. Adjustable grippers will apply all the hold necessary so tip doesn’t have to do much

I just put the tip in the solid rubber above or below the pre-cut holes, if that makes sense, no issues at all.
