just wanting to know if anyone’s had any experience with these in the field? I’ve got a couple and I’m in Illinois hunting and I can’t find a single pack of mega meat 125 grain heads for compound bow. I came close to picking up a pack of the crossbow heads but was advised against it by the archery staff. Any help is appreciated, thanks

Shot a cow elk at 53 yds broadside. Got about 16" penetration and a crap blood trail. 70lbs 515gr arrow, 125gr Hybrid.
Shot a buck in SC a few weeks ago. Arrow stopped in opposite shoulder. Blood everywhere, died in sight. Its a toss up.

Killed a buck this year at 24 yards, went 30 yards and fell over dead. Shot was a little back, could have got lucky on artery but it was a good hole.

Great to hear!! I’ve used sevr before and had success just never the hybrid. One deer of the 3 I shot with the sevr had a pretty tough blood trail to follow but was doable. Im gonna have faith that if I put it in the right spot the lord will do the rest!

in my experience 3 or 4 blades leave better blood trails than 2 blades but the most important factor is where you hit em!

They worked great for me this year. 10+ years ago I switched to a fix blade because of a mechanical failure. For some reason the hybrid 1.5 caught my eye and decided to give it a go. Hit my deer a little back (liver) and it preformed great. Deer ended up going about 120 yards or so.

For whatever reason I can’t post pics here because it says they are too large. I shot a nice 8 point WT Saturday at 9 yards. Entered behind shoulder and all but the last 12” or so of arrow exited the opposite shoulder. Good blood trail and I watched the buck die within 40 yards or so. The Hybrid did its job just fine!

I shot a bull with one this year. Bull came in faster than expected. Quick set up. He came in head-on to 25 yards and could see the location of the caller. He started to turn to his left giving me a broadside shot. I drew as he turned and I think he caught my movement so he whirled around the opposite direction as I shot. Ended up hitting him frontal in the chest. Arrow went in about 11" and broke off in the first 15 yards. Gave him an hour. Blood trail was very faint for 50 yards. The last 25 yards was a blood bath. Bull piled up in less than 80 yards.

I had no use for a mechanical head after a couple deer that almost didn’t get found.
The Hybrid caught my eye after one of the guys in elk camp had them this year.
Bought some and they fly great, same POI as my field points.
So far this year, I’ve taken a small doe and a 200# plus buck. The holes are impressive, the blood trails easy to follow and I’m colorblind. I look for a couple things in a head, flight and trail. The Hybrid has given me both and both animals went down in less than 40 yards in sight.
I’ve definitely found my deer, bear and turkey head. We’ll have to get more results before taking them for elk.
