Set and forget scope. Tract? Maven? NF? Trij?

I have a SHV on my Seekins. During the year and at camp, everyone babies there rifles and is so worried about any contact with the scope on hard surfaces… I use mine just short of a mallet, an oar, and it rattles around on the wheeler with no scope cover so far with 150 miles… It has NEVER let me down.

Trijicon Accupoint 3-9X40 green Mil-Dot is what I’ve migrated to on virtually all of my hunting rifles. I routinely practice out to 600 yards on a 10 inch plate. The one on my primary BGR has been banged around the mountains for several years with no issues.IMG_1839.jpeg

What reticle are you wanting? For my set and forget optics I like simple and clean like a 4a or 7a. Have you considering Schmidt & Bender? I believe the drop tests have been favorable there and the klassic range (3-12x42) is sfp and mostly clean reticles.
