Okay Roksliders,
Here's your chance to step up your hunting and harvest success!
For sale is a well used and incredibly experienced Kifaru Muskeg 5000. This would be the "bag only" because the frame that she was allied with has moved on to new adventures.
Some sellers seem to emphasize the lack of blood on the pack that they want to sell. No pun intended, but that's a serious red flag for me! This bag has had lots of blood on it. And in it. Dirt too. Most has been washed off, but you will most definitely be able to find some crimson stains. You can be confident that the microscopic blood residual will help cover the "new car" waft of a greenhorn pack.
If this Muskeg 5000 was a guitar, it would probably be a 1941 Martin D-45. She carries with amazing stability and balance. Here's just a sample of her pack-out portfolio:
This Muskeg 5000 is not a pavement princess! Envisage: Bronco, Jeep, or Landcruiser. She's done a fair amount of overland adventure, service work, and environmental cleanup - packing out the bones that litter the Western wildlands. And she bares a minor war wound from it - a hole that happened during a Grizzly attack...or was it a Mt Lion...or perhaps it was a pack of Wolves...doesn't matter, it only adds to her nostalgia and doesn't impact the ability for her to do her job. Nevertheless I'll include a couple pieces of Tenacious Tape in the event you want to rehabilitate her.
Packs with this kind of juju don't come along very often and I know what I've got here so please, no low ball offers!
I'm asking SOLD delivered in CONUS - Venmo, Paypal f&f, or buyer pays 3%. I would consider a straight up trade for some Zeiss Victory RF 10x42 Binoculars.
