Serious Elk Guys in VA or such?

Anyone in or around the VA that isn't new to chasing elk in any state they can get a tag in? Spends 13 months a year improving anything possible from endurance to arrows and gear?
No offense but has been through the grinder before and met both success and failure? Finding a solid hunting partner that obsesses to the degree I do isn't easy on the east coast. This isn't a part time gig for me. Hit me up if you think about being out west and do something to get 1% better daily.

There are some very experienced and consistently successful elk hunting machines here in the east. But finding an elk hunting partner on the internet is like looking for your soulmate on a free dating app. Good luck because you are going to need it.

That’s all I’ve been doing for the last year or so and I’m on the eastern shore of md Between training to shooting, tuning my bow and everything I can think of. Yet to take a trip out west but want to be as best prepped when it’s time. Probably going rifle first just to get eyes on the country but now only afterwards.

Not obsessed with it, but planning a DIY hunt in Western Montana this fall. I split my time between central and SW Virginia. Rifle only.
