This one hurts. I really like this rifle. But i really do not need it and have wandering eyes on classifieds!
Started life as a .300wm factory rifle.
Previous owner took it to Rich Reiley of high tech customs in CO springs.
Richie trued the action and bolt. Then screwed on a Lilja .300 weatherby barrel and the HTC brake. Bedded the rifle in the factory walnut and did a trigger job on the old factory remmy.
Previous owner said he only put 20 rounds on the rebuilt rifle and i believe it. I put 7 through it. 4 factory loads just to foul the barrel. Then i shot one group with some handloads i had for another 300bee and shot a 0.6" group with 180gr ttsx. Recoil is very mild with Richie's brake.
Weighs 8 lbs with the talley rings. (7lbs-15.4oz).
Barrel and action are cerakoted black. Bolt and bottom metal are factory blued.
It is in great shape, couple small dings here and there on an older stock. I tried to capture them all in photos.
Obv there is no barrel code for the original, but the serial number starts with B6836xxx.
The photo with the ".300 wby" on the barrel...those are reflections on the stock, the stock is perfect there.
