Self filming spot and stalk

I made the same post earlier in the wrong file so I apologize if you have seen this already. My question: I am goin on some spot and stalk bow hunts. What are my best options to film the shot? I assume a go pro on the hat, but I really have never tried this so all suggestions appreciated.

A gopro on your head is pretty uncomfortable, ive tried multiple mounts. The best compromise between it and a chest mount is a shoulder mount off a bino harness or pack. Go watch some solohunter stuff, they hunt that style. You can also bow/gun mount a gopro, two, one on the shoulder and one on the bow/gun would prob be best. Any action cams downfall is depth perception in the video. 20 yards looks like 60.

Did you have any luck filming? I tend to always forget in the moment anyway and only get the post shot excitement
