We have a ridiculous bandtail pigeon season. 7 days, 2 bird limit daily. Why even get out of bed?? I fish every day. Sept 15 is always bandtail opener. Rarely I get to go.
The wind blew today. I canceled my trip at 0545. At 0700 I was walking up my favorite ridge road with the pup. 8 birds busted from a tree top. I shot twice. I wish I would of missed.
