I have a new Seekins Precision PH 3 in 300 PRC. 22 inch barrel with a 1/10 twist. I was wondering if anybody had worked up accurate loads using a Barnes LRX bullet. The 206 gr. Won’t work due to the twist rate.

I ran up a load with a 190 lrx that was just under 1”, I tried n565 and magpro along with Staball hd. I had better luck with the hornady 190 cx and Staball hd. I’m just over .5 with that combo. 3090 average from a 24” barrel.

Would you be willing to share your reloading specifics for the Hornady and Staball HD please?

I used nosler accubond data because none was available at the time for this combo, Barnes had told me in the past that accubonds and the lrx were going to be similar in data. I’ve found that to be the same for the CX. Start low at work up. 83 grains Staball hd and the 190 CX seated .030 off the lands, fed 215m primer. 3090 average velocity, 9.7 SD, 16.2 ES.
