I know a lot of people on here would rather build their own rifle when you start getting into the $2000+ range but this rifle from Seekins precision looks like a great deal. Good components on this rifle. Father in laws boss wanted to get a rifle for him this Christmas and couldn’t talk him into building custom so I found this rifle which I think he has ordered now. I think it will be great gun for someone that doesn’t need an really lightweight hunting rifle and likes to try their skills at some long range shooting. I might end up with one.. can't build a rifle with that parts list for close to that price.

Seekins developed 3 rd nearly flush magazines for it that will accommodate 3.16" COAL on short actions and 3.95" on long actions. Pretty awesome!

Also FYI, cabelas has the 300 WM listed as a 1:11 twist, actually will be a 10 twist.

Give me one in 6.5 PRC !!!@@@@

I want one too and I already have a 6.5 SAUM.. Would be fantastic if the PRC catches on and gets brass from someone other than Hornady.

Seekins is doing it right too.. 0.188 Freebore on these bad boys and the 3.155" mags will take advantage of that. Most SAUMs are set up with 0.81 or 1.20" freebore to allow them to mag feed at 2.95" COAL or less.
