I'm selling this Seekins Havak PH(2?) that has a 26" Bartlein Carbon #4 9 Twist barrel chambered by TS Custom. The chamber was spec'd to seat the 215+ bergers, 0.200" freebore i believe. It has one of the new action/bolts that runs much smoother than the orginal havak actions. Included with it I'll also ship a factory seekins barrel (2nd rifle from story below) that has less than 200 rounds on it. It has an area 419 hellfire brake w/ 5/8” thread adapter. Comes with 2 carbon magazines.
$2100 $1790 shipped in lower 48. I accept Venmo, PayPal F&F or buyer pays fees, and am open to other options.

I have Redding type s dies, lapua and nosler brass, giraud trimmer case holder, and possibly some bullets if buyer is interested. Also am open to selling the LRTS 18x that’s currently mounted on it or 3-12 LRTS or LRHS2 if buyer is interested.

It was a winding journey for this rifle to end up this way so I'll give the background. I bought the first one as one of the early model havaks right when they went from the mcmillan stocks to their own stocks. I was unhappy with the accuracy. I spent a fair bit of time trying different things but no matter what, it was unacceptable. I sent it back to seekins and they agreed. They identified a number of things wrong with it. We spoke about what my expectations were for precision but they didn't have any 212 eldx or 215 bergers on hand to try in the replacement rifle so I sent a box of berger factory 215s. The replacement rifle shot their standard factory validation ammo well (i believe FGMM 190 at the time) and they shot a decent group with my provided berger ammo. i didn't see what group was shot with the rounds they didn't show. I got the replacement rifle back and it was better than the first but still it wasn't shooting the bullets i wanted to use (berger 215s or 200.20x, hornady 212 eldx) to my satisfaction. At this point I was over 100 rounds into the second rifle and was over spending time/money on it so i had a bartlein #4 carbon 9 twist sent to TS Customs for them to fit it to the havak. The bartlein has performed like a quality barrel/chamber ought to and has shot everything it's been fed well. I'd guess around 160 total rounds on it now. When seekins was upgrading bolts i sent it in and put the barrel on an entirely different action. This action is way smoother than the original ones.

Baffles have a couple slight dings from me sticking a screwdriver through to remove the brake.

I was trying to get the butt pad off to insert spacers and thought these shims my have been glued in so made this little oops trying to get it off.

Here’s the note from seekins on the 1 warrantied rifle and notes from them and corresponding groups from the second barrel that I pulled in favor of the bartlein but goes with the rifle.

What is the weight of the rifle minus the optic now with the carbon barrel...? I think Seekin's PH2's with factory barrel are just a skosh over 7 lbs.....

This one was more than a skosh over 7#, I think it was 7#11oz or so. I can weigh it later tonight. It didn’t change much, bartlein carbons aren’t particularly light.

Edit: @Cascade_Sherpa 8# 3oz with a magazine and the brake on. I think that brake alone weighs 5 oz..
