Srs hunter rail. Has the pic mount and arca in a small footprint. What rail/mount did you use? Can you post a photo
How far out have you shot with that 2.5-10? I believe it’s 4 oz. I previously ran the hatch but it was too heavy to carry around on the rifle All the time. I figure the mtn gear bipod is light enough to leave on, then if I need extra height I have the tripod with me at all times with the shooting head as well.Sweet setup, thinking about copying that myself. Have one in 6.5prc with nxs 2-10 and love it.
What's the bipod weigh?

No terrible but ya snappy is a good word to describe it. Im running it without a muzzle brake rn because I have a suppressor coming in a couple months. After 20 rounds I definitely still feel it in my shoulder. Not sure how my wife is going to like the recoil hahaHows the recoil? Pretty snappy?
I have a Srs mini. It’s not exactly balanced but it’s pretty steadyNice rifle! You need an arca Swiss plate to balance that thing on the tripod tho man.
Hornady 175 eldxWhat ammo?
Then you need one mounted way further back on the stock. A bipod rail/plate is not a good attachment point for a tripod.I have a Srs mini. It’s not exactly balanced but it’s pretty steady
Any why exactly is that? If the tripod and head can hold the weight I don’t see why not ? I’m definitely not the first or the only person running this setup…. If I’m missing something I’m genuinely interested in learning what you have to say. Then you need one mounted way further back on the stock.
