It was delivered today, I’ll probably try it tomorrow. The seekins mag shipped today also, so I’ll be trying them bothHappen to try this MDT magazine yet?
That an MDT poly mag? How’d it workAnnex Sidekick Arca's came in. They use standard 10-24 countersunk bolts for the MLok hardware, so it was easy to find longer hardware. Got one installed up front with the provided hardware and one installed in the threaded slot. The threaded holes lined up perfectly. They have MLok slot indexing protrusions, so they self center unlike the SRS rails.
My MTN Gear bipod is perfect for this setup. The sideways arca makes the bipod setup extremely slender.
In general, it's a little awkward to work the Arca clamps, but it's not impossible. I'm very happy with this. Extremely compact. Can barely feel it.

Oh yah missed that - haha got a little excitedDoesn’t look like a tikka but I could be wrong.

Damn that looks good. I'm losing the willpower to resist.Chassis came in today -
Overall fit and finish is superb, Seekins killed it with this.
Folding mechanism IS stout but why wouldn’t you want it to be? I’ll take a stout fold vs an XLR flopping like overcooked spaghetti.
Barrel channel will NOT fit my 22cm OMR barrel without opening it up. It will seat and torque but is not free floated through the forward half of the forend. Not a big deal, a 1” socket and some sandpaper will open it up with uniformity.
Weight is right at 36oz with the heavy ahh ergo grip, with an XLR or other 1ish oz grip you’ll be at 32ish. Same as my Rokstock came out to be
Finding a solution for the mag will be the interesting part of this chassis. I wish they had manufactured a carbon option for the tikka inlets, but to be honest we’re lucky they made them for tikkas in general.
Any questions I can answer for an itching mind?

Modified Hawkins mag may be as good as it gets unless they eventually work a CF solution.Chassis came in today -

I think when you go on the website to order it there is a drop down bar and you can select what gun your putting on it.Can anyone confirm this would work with an original element, not the m3?
Do you have an MDT poly mag to tryChassis came in today -

Yeah, sounding like the case. Going to wait another week and see if anything develops. Then will order a few options to test/modify.Modified Hawkins mag may be as good as it gets unless they eventually work a CF solution.
I do not, I will and up buying one soon to test.Do you have an MDT poly mag to try
