I'm pretty settled on purchasing a SO Redcliff for my annual hunting trip, and am hoping to also use it for family camping with the wife, kid, and dog. For family camping, we'd be mostly doing 4 season camping in California, so not likely dealing with mounds of snow.

I'm wondering if anyone can help steer me towards one of a few accessory options to make it more family friendly. My wife definitely wants some way to make it fairly bug proof. Some options I'm considering:

- Redcliff full nest. This screen fills up the whole inside of the tent and has a floor, but makes the stove unusable.
- Two Cimarron half nests. Each takes up 1/3 of the tent, so you can have two of these with an open area in the middle for the stove (especially with the Redcliff Light's better stove placement)
- Redcliff 2.0 with the new 2.0 liner. This doesn't provide "full" coverage, but its better than just the floor and would seem to greatly reduce insects getting in.

Can anyone weigh in on these options, or recommend another option?

Thank you!

People have differing opinions on this but in my opinion, the floor liner is going to be the most versatile option. The liner portion is going to keep 95 percent of everything out. My wife is the same way with bugs but when we take the floor liner she is totally good with it. You would have to have a very determined bug to get in the shelter if its set up nice and tight. If you get the Redcliff with door screens you can get ventilation while also having bug protection. Also allows for use with the stove.

This is referring to the new 2.0 floor/liner, correct? Since the liner only goes part way up the walls, does it help much with condensation?

Yes. It actually does! It helps reduce it but also protects against drippage.
Do you think there is any way to jerry-rig the new floor/liner to work with a redcliff 1.0? I know it's missing a few loops on the inside compared to the 2.0, but it seems like a workaround could exist?

Two things here.
1. If you wanted to send a 1.0 in to get the updates added we can do that.
2. Yes. I have done it. You need some cordage and it is definitely not perfect. The front part of the floor gets funky but technically yes.
