Seek Outside/Paradox Evolution frame and Peregrine pack

I've been experimenting with packs for the last couple of years and have tried a Kifaru Bikini and Tactical Duplex frame with Mountain Rambler and Tahr bags, a Stone Glacier Solo, and an Exo Mountain 3500. I've found the quality of all these packs first rate and I've come to the conclusion that a pack with curved stays really suits me best.

I recently decided to try out a Seek Outside/Paradox pack, and was able to pick up a used Evolution frame (now replaced by the Revolution) and a 4800ci Evolution bag and Talon. I also ordered a Peregrine to use as a day pack and light overnighter. I had a bit of trouble finding detailed pictures of how bags attach to the Evolution frame, so I decided to take some pictures. I hope they help some others here.

As for the Peregrine, I ordered it in the V42 Expedition Olive XPac fabric, which is waterproof (although the bag itself may need some seam sealing). I'm thrilled with the quality of the bag --- the stitching and workmanship is flawless. I won't say more as I don't have a lot of time with the pack yet, but my initial impressions are very positive.

The pictures show mounting the Peregrine on a 28" Evolution frame. I have 2", 4", an 6" extensions, so I'll be trying out the bag with shorter frame heights (22", 24", and 26"). The comparison pictures is the Peregrine alongside a Kifaru Tahr.

Thanks for the pics! I've been checking out packs as well and have pretty much narrowed it down to a stone glacier solo or the seek outside revolution/peregrine setup.

I think I could make due with either pack for up to 5 days if I used a dry bag between the frame and pack and then just use the smaller solo or peregrine while hunting from camp. For some reason I really like the side pockets and the waterproofness of the the peregrine.

I've used and EXO for the past 2 years and something about the frame doesn't quite feel right to me.

Love the Peregrine pack. Used it on day hunts in montana as well as a compression panel/pocket against the 6300 when we hiked in for a few days.

Not a bad idea to use it as a compression panel/pocket with a bigger bag then use it for your day hunts from camp.
