It'd be an awesome car camping tent for two, gear, and stove.
My brother and I bought a 12 by 20 Alaknak for 4 guys, gear, and a 35 pound firebox coal stove. It routinely gets to 0 and single digits during our late No ember hunts we use it for. It took a lot of pic, shovel, and grade work to get a spot big enough for that tent in the hemlock stand where we stay. I wished these were available when we bought it. Could have bought two of them, used our spare stove, and been a lot better off. The biggest thing is pack up time and the weight savings this would offer. Plus it's floor less like our canvas wall tent. That alone is worth money in my mind.
I personally think it feels a great niche. My only concern not having experience with it is the snow load it'd hold. I had a freak snow storm dump 10 inches of wet snow quick enough to collapse the wall tent before I could get out and, get a fire started in the stove. God Bless men
