Wondering, since the fabric is advertised as the waterproof does that make it more noisy and "crinkly" sounding compared to other packs? Also, how do you like the roll top, vs having zippers?

Xpac fabrics will get noisier when the temperatures start to get around freezing, but they also will get quieter the more you use them and ‘break them in’.

It's only noisier when you are getting in and digging around your bag and especially in cold temps. Otherwise walking in brush i have noticed not more noise than cordura.

If noise is an issue the spectraGridHT is a quieter and pretty waterproof ( far more than Cordura ) option

To make it even more simple

it’s not loud enough to worry on the hunts Iv been on out west.
Wouldn’t wear it To or in the treestand.

Once the compression straps are cinched, there is no noise. I don't find it any better or worse than cordura noise wise.
I have a side zip roll top Uniweep 4800 and like the versatility of access.

I noticed the noise a bit when I was first setting the bag up. But not at all going thru trees, etc. However I was on a hike today and I had to quickly grab my phone and take a call from the kids. I didnt squeeze all the air out as I normally would. It was like a drum when I tagged a couple branches with it. I won't be making that mistake on a hunt.
