I don't know if you are both "trusted", but I know your addresses and I work remotely. So, it's not hard to make a house call.

A few years back I sold an O/U shotgun on Armslist to a guy across the country. He picked a local FFL to me to work with......so that was his choice. I took the shotgun to the FFL, he checked it out (and said he wouldn't mind buying it....LOL), then called the buyer to give him the good to go, and he immediately sent a PP F&F payment to me. At that point it was all on the buyer to pay the FFL for shipping and his time.

It's a little work on both parties, but gives peace of mind to both as well. I'm sure the same could be done with official USPS money orders, by sending to the FFL as a middle man.
