Hello All,

Wanted to see if I could get a few thoughts here.
I just tried a new Berger load and pretty much narrowed it down to a final CBTO

Upper left is a .045 from jamb, upper right .050 and bottom right .055
As you can see, there are a few flyers in there, all were 5 shot groups. How I determine the 3 was a test I did out to 400 with a .010, .050, .090 & .130 with best results at .050
All were on the clock with a 3 minute rest time between shots
102 yards sighting
Results substituting the flyers, I know from past they were on me today
.045– .41 MOA
.050– .30 MOA
.055– .41 MOA

I think I’m going to split the difference and set it at .047 and call it good
What has me scratching my head is the .055 vertical drop. I would think that with more chamber pressure that the velocity would be greater, not a lot but some and the shot would be high as opposed to the others 2 groups?

Any ideas?

That bottom left, cold bore and a few shots to zero

I think you’re alright taking any of those seating depths. Really splitting flea hairs when they’re all sub half moa. This is a hunting load correct?
