It seems like some of the "there are no nodes" thoughts come from people shooting 6br based cartridges through truck axle barrels. I don't have experience with that but I have had a couple heavier barreled 6.5x47s and I have yet to find a load in either that doesn't shoot tight with fairly decent velocity spreads but I have found definite powder charges that show consistently lower velocity spreads.

IMO this doesn't translate well to developing loads for overbore cartridges in lightweight barrels.
That could easily be, and I'm hesitant to completely rubber stamp the idea. My primary hunting rifle has a 22'' barrel that finishes at .750'' and is chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor, so while not a truck axle it's not a lightweight barrel nor is it overbore.

I have enjoyed that discussion, though, and some interesting info has been shared. I think it also hinges on what practical accuracy means to the person involved.

100% agree.

The more I load, the less confident I am in universal theories and the less I chase that gnats ass.
