That could easily be, and I'm hesitant to completely rubber stamp the idea. My primary hunting rifle has a 22'' barrel that finishes at .750'' and is chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor, so while not a truck axle it's not a lightweight barrel nor is it overbore.It seems like some of the "there are no nodes" thoughts come from people shooting 6br based cartridges through truck axle barrels. I don't have experience with that but I have had a couple heavier barreled 6.5x47s and I have yet to find a load in either that doesn't shoot tight with fairly decent velocity spreads but I have found definite powder charges that show consistently lower velocity spreads.
IMO this doesn't translate well to developing loads for overbore cartridges in lightweight barrels.
I have enjoyed that discussion, though, and some interesting info has been shared. I think it also hinges on what practical accuracy means to the person involved.
