sealskinz socks?

are they that waterproof? i'm thinking of trying a pair for wet and cold hunts in New Zealand. would i get wet feet anyway from sweat or are they very breathable? thinking of trying their gloves too.

I'm not sure if I remember correctly or not but aren't they made out of neoprene? Had some gloves made out of that once and man did they make my hands stink

I've heard better reviews on the Rocky gore-tex socks than the seal skinz.

I have had good luck using ski gloves for winter backpacking and hunting uses.
