Anybody here draw a hills or prairie tag? I know the sample size is probably small considering it's resident only. Buddy drew his prairie tag.

Just got a phone call from my older brother. He drew a Black Hills tag. He and his son both drew Custer bison tags last year. If it works out, we will go to Texas, then South Dakota and then Wyoming in a row.

ETA. We did draw Wyoming also. Had my secretary mark me out from September 26 through the end of October. Will be at work part of the time unless I draw something else. I love long hunting trips. We have a friend who has hunted the same Black Hills tag and gave my brother a bunch of waypoints of where to find elk.

Congrats! 19 point in Custer is also pretty early! There were people with 45 points and no luck!

I have a friend whose wife and him both drew cow tags for the same unit in the hills for this year. The live in the hills. I’m sure not the first time that’s it’s happened, but still pretty cool I think. Pretty lucky.
