Any of these better than the other? Or are they all a crap shoot? I bought a 5 pack from Amazon for around $40 with good reviews and I’ve had 2 of the 5 go bad in the last 3 months. Any recommendations for good cards that will survive all year long? Thanks.

I always run the highest-speed SanDisk cards for drone work. I'd recommend just finding a SanDisk card that matches the speed your equipment specifies that has the capacity you want.

Forgot to add, I have been rotating Micro Center cards through my tail cams for a few years with no issues. What brand do you have?

Yep, I always buy sandisk and have never had a problem. The frustration is not worth saving a few bucks.

Yes- I buy the SanDisk Ultra cards for my cameras. Usually either 16 or 32 gb. Have not had one fail yet.

With the cameras, it is important with some to have the card formatted to the camera. I run all browning cams at the moment, so it’s not really an issue, but if you run more than one brand it would be safer to use specific cards only in the same brand of camera to prevent a formatting issue. I think this is more a problem with browning vs other brands, but I’m not certain.

Sandisk is the best I know of. I used the Onn brand from wmart for a while...lesson learned.

SanDisk it is then.
I usually read the cards at the camera, so formatting to a specific one shouldn’t be an issue. But I will definitely keep that in mind. Thanks.

I know with Bushnell cell cams they recommend SanDisk cards. My cell cam was acting up and through troubleshooting with their support team found out the above.

Sandisk is a brand name?
The "SD" in "SD card" stands for "Secure Digital". SanDisk apparently named their company to capture as much of the SD card market as possible.

Been using Sandisk a long time- not much more expensive than others and never had a problem.

Browning recommends Sandisk and Kingston, I've been running both with no issues. Sandisk was hard to find for a bit there.

It definitely depends on what type of camera and what your demands are from your camera. Cell cams won’t even work without the right card. For how cheap SD cards are anymore, you’re better off going with SanDisk regardless

I have 3 Browning cameras in service. Each camera has 2 cards designated just for that camera and I swap cards out to check them. Browning recommends a "delete all" every time you put a card in the camera. Part of the "delete all" process the camera does is to re-format the card. This seems to have helped me avoid issues with my Browning cameras.

I have nothing but SanDisk now. No issues in about a month of use.

+1 on Sandisk. Use caution buying from Amazon though. I've read of folks receiving knockoffs instead of the real thing.
