Anybody have any trucks to getting a small Allen screw loose in a cam of a compound bow?
I tried a letting a drop of oil sit in it over night but it still wouldn’t budge.

I’m worried the screw will just snap off.

Was it gonna go pick up some old liquid wrench next.

Aluminum LOVES to micro weld to dis-similar metals.. You probably have 2 options. Buy a new cam OR take cam off and have a machine shop drill out and chase the threads with a tap

Yeah:-/

The screw on the other cam was real tight but snapped loose.

Screws are too adjust the cams from 85% let off to 80% let off so it’s not a game changer if I don’t get it out

You can drill the head off of the screw. I typically use the same size drill as the outer diameter of the thread. Once you drill to the thread part of the screw the head will basically come off. Then remove the threaded portion with needle nose pliers.

Or take to a machine shop and let them do it.

Worked :-) little liquid wrench and the heat from the tip of a soldering gun.

Try pounding in a torx bit. As someone who deals with alot of stripped bolts this works well.
