Big 8s can be really deceiving. I almost talked myself out of shooting a 5.5 year old 8 point this year because he had an inside spread of only 12”. Went back and forth with my self for a long time while he was making his way across an ag field before finally deciding to shoot him.

He grossed right at 140. Got a whole lot bigger when I got my hands on him.
