I just ordered a Tikka T3x Lite .300 Winmag and Vortex scope for my Montana Elk Hunt. Wondering what lightweight scope rings and bipod would be good for this setup.

I run a Harris with swivel works well. I have the 9-13, would probably get the longer one if I was to do it again.

I run an atlas with the quick release which is nice. I would agree with Willi though, I have the 5-9 and recently ordered leg extensions. 5-9 is great on the bench but I have found it lacking when dealing with some shot positions in the field. Never really worried about ring weight as it's not a super light Mtn setup seeing as it often runs with a bipod. Congrats on the new gun. I love my Tikka.

I have chosen to "walk" my bipod and I like the length that allows the shooter to sit in multiple shooting positions

don't know how "light" is light enough for your taste but since your a Vortex fan, they make a decent enough ring that weighs in at 5 oz in the 30mm version

That's easy. Talley rings and a 13-27" Harris bipod. That length of bipod will let you shoot probe and from a sitting position.
