Hi everyone,

First post, pleasure to meet you all. I've been browsing this sub and it has been incredibly helpful. Going hunting for the first time this season, and would appreciate some suggestions for scope rings on my first rifle setup.

Rifle: 30-06 Savage 110 Trail Hunter Lite. Comes with 2 piece weaver
Scope: Trijicon Credo HX 2.5-10x56 (picked up with plenty of recs from this sub!)

Thank you!

I’ve got to where I won’t run anything but Spuhr. That said, there are a ton of great options. Unknown Munitions sells a great set of rings from what I hear, but I’ve never used them personally.

Been very happy with Seekins (also rebranded as Vortex PMR). I like that they’re all the same size screw on all tightening parts. Makes it easier to setup and no giant side screw hanging off.

Not a fan of the giant nut on the side either… all that too say I have many Leupy Mark4s with the giant nut… but for a hunting rig you can’t go wrong with their back country series. I’ve used some open country series on .22s, but would drop the extra coin to go back country for larger caliber rifles.

I am using the weaver brand 6 hole rings. made in USA, seem like good quality and the scope has not moved. They also have a 4 hole model if you want something lighter weight. I'm not droping my rifle all over the place though, so no idea yet how they hold up to impacts.

Most folks are going to recommend the seekins or warn mountain tech rings. Little more pricey, but tried and true.

NF Ultralite or Warne Mountain Tech. Welcome aboard as well. Check out the thread on scope mounting to maintain zero as well.
