Scope Ring Recommendation: Bergara HMR Pro and ATACR 7-35X56MM

Hi everybody,

Noob here who needs scope ring advice.

Rifle: Bergara HMR Pro in 308.

Scope: Nightforce ATACR 7-35x56mm (34mm tube) with flip cap covers. I have a sunshade I'll like use from time to time.
Rail: Nightforce 20MOA Rail

It's currently mounted on the ultramount the scope came with that is taller than Mt. Everest.

Again I'm a noob and didnt educate myself on ring height and why it would matter (shame on me I know).

Advice on if I should I go 1.00" or 1.125" scope rings?

Dimensions will be very close between your rifle an mine: I have a rifle built on a Rem M700 LA. The barrel is a Krieger #6 contour, which is .75" at the muzzle (26" barrel). I have a Leopold Mark 4 20 moa rail. I have NF XTreme Duty Low (.885") 6 screw rings. My NF SHV 5-20 X 56mm scope has plenty of barrel clearance, even with the NF / Tenebrex objective lens cover. My scope has a 30mm tube. Not sure how my scope length compares to your ATACR, but the NF Low rings work fine with my set up.
