Buy some Hawkins Tikka low rings...hang a plumb Bob across the yard or garage or whatever. Set the rifle up on bags and bipod...line up the sting up with your scopes y axis (vertical). Tighten evenly, a little at a time with an inch lb torque wrench and t-bit. I think Hawkins recommends 20in/lb but double check. Mark screw/housing with paint pen as visual indicator if a screw over comes loose. Some will suggest sealing that screw with clear nail polish.
Will you do it better than a 16 year old at camel's, maybe. Maybe not. But at least you'll have learned something.
