Im thinking really seriously about ordering a pair since some are on sale right now, I read that they can fit small, is this a common experience with these? I wish there was a away I could try them on before buying but there isn't and I don't want to get stuck paying some massive fee for shipping a heavy pair of mountain boots back when they don't fit. Also, I normally wear a 12, Ive never fit a 13 in anything.

I have a pair of the absaroka's (best boot I've worn). They were true to size for me. They run off the braddock scale(?), that metal shoe sizing do-hicky in shoe stores. So run into one and double check.

For reference, i printed one of those scales off and measured my foot. Came in right at about 9.5.

Ordered 9.5 and didn't have to send them back. No toe bang going downhill and I have well over 100 or more miles in them.

I ordered the new performance line and they ran half size small normally 9.5 needed 10
