Scented Smoke in a Bottle

Just seeing that they have scented smoke in a bottle - earth, pine, sage, juniper, cedar, cow in heat.

I would guess that it's useless - anything that can smell the cow in heat is definitely going to smell you. The cover scents probably don't make a difference - again, if they can smell the scent they can smell you.

Anyone disagree?
 
I suppose the scent might cause an elk to hesitate for a second or two before bumping but at best I think it's really just sexy marketing
 
I puffed my smoke in a bottle 3 times in rapid succession yesterday and got 3 different wind directions. I knew it was pointless after that lol.
