Scenario - Wearing orange while archery elk hunting?

Im not sure if hunter orange hurts you in the field, at least not any worse than a quick movement at the wrong time

I was wondering about the logic of being required to wear Hunter Orange. If it required because of the safety of the Hunter, why don't the others in the Hunter's party have to wear it too? I see hunting programs all the time where the Hunter is wearing orange, but his guide, the camera man, and others with him are dressed in camo. If the Hunter is required to wear orange to prevent being mistaken for game, aren't the others in the same danger? I am not saying the law should be changed, but it doesn't make sense to me. I do believe that wearing orange has prevented some tragedies.

Hunters with archery licenses could wear orange camo. The orange could keep them safer. Big game don't see orange, so the camo would still break up their silhouette.
