Scarpa triolet or Asolo pumori

I am currently looking at both of these boots as an upgrade from Solomon quest 3D. I know it is best to try on the boots and will do so but I can really only afford to order one at a time.

From others experience do have any recommendations based on performance?

For a reference I am typically wearing a 10.5 size boot and have tried on some of the Lowa cervdale(sp??, really cool looking red boots) and they felt pretty good for walking around the store with them. Therefore I am targeting a 10.5 in both of these boots as well, unless someone has any other thoughts.

I can get a much better deal on these two boots and that is why I am looking at these versus the Lowa.

Assuming that you're looking at each of these on STP, I'd bite the bullet and order both and return the one you don't like. STP has a great return policy, complete with printable shipping labels and the whole bit. Boots are important enough, that if you can swing it to have both of them sitting on your credit card for a couple of weeks and then getting the returned pair refunded, I'd go that route.

If that's not an option, I vote for the Scarpas. Triolets were on my short list for a summer boot. It's a nice boot for sure.
