Any experience with these?

Looking for a well made hiking boot in wide.

These run about 21 oz, so lightweight.

Lots of great boots made, but wide models are limited.

I normally wear a 12ee.

What comments i can find on the kailash trek gtx is that they run narrow, but what about the wide version?

Thanks!

I would recommend contacting Scarpa. The Kailash family is build on a narrow last. Their wide may fit a "normal" foot better.

I've been wearing the Kailash Plus in a Wide for about two years now, I've been very happy with them. I have pretty wide high-volume feet, and they are one of the few boots I've worn that immediately felt perfect out of the box. I do just wish they were a tiny bit stiffer, but they're still more supportive than most other light hikers. Looking at picking up a pair of the Kailash Trek now as well for more breathability.
