To be clear I’m not making a joke at the OPs expense. There seems to be a specific hacker targeting Rokslide who claims to be Bigfoot when he scams.

Yep dudes been around for a few months now, he is hacking accounts and then posing as wkr to make deals… guys bottom line, if you can’t meet in person just ask whoever is selling to FaceTime you with the item and chat. I won’t do this for all purchases… but I’ll do it for stuff over a dollar amount that I wouldn’t want to lose. It takes all of 3 min and it’s easy to know if the guy is legit or a scamming POS.

Sucks to hear. Things like this makes it harder for us newbies to buy/sell and all other members hesitant to work with. I always stick to GnS. I do like that this forum recommends the option for people to make calls/FaceTime to confirm it’s a legit person.

As I’m not hunting out of state I didn’t get elite this year… but anyone with elite can pull it up, obviously it might not be the dude but I would guess it is he would have taken the western union money gram for sure, wouldn’t hurt to get a name off the property

Might be a random unrelated address with a bluff to accept MO for credibility. Not like the scammer is out anything if somebody mails a MO. The truck sticker is interesting though.
