I hate scammers. My rule of thumb is to only roll the dice on an item I would not lose sleep over if I got stiffed. I would definitely lose sleep losing over $1k.

Or... now hear me out.... PM each other phone numbers and have a conversation prior to sending a complete stranger you met on the internet hundreds or thousands of dollars....

I've bought and sold quite a bit on here and EVERY SINGLE TIME there has been a conversation, and most of the time the conversation goes on for 30+ minutes and we both end up having questions and suggestions for one another... Pretty easy to use discernment.....

I do have been doing the exact same thing for years.
