Yep, I have a Source 3L bladder with QD on the tube both at the bag and the mouthpiece.
With the Source UTA (universal tube adaptor) attached to the bottom of the Sawyer Squeeze and connected to the QD moutpiece of the Source tube, I can filter right into my bladder while still in the pack with no leaks! Or, remove the bladder from the pack, disconnect the hose and attach the UTA right to the bladder itself...

Just need to experiment with a good lightweight alternative to the Sawyer bags to use as a 'dirty bag' for gravity feeding. And talk my pards into Source QD bladders for their packs, then we will be golden!

Only thing I don't like is having to disconnect the hose from filter to put it through the hydration port on the Kifaru, couple times I got water on the pack. Not a big deal just wasn't ideal. I have a Platy 3L big zip on order and plan on using that as my main dirty/dipper bag then filtering into the 6L drom for camp water. Haven't check to see if I'm going to need a few more quick disconnects or not.

It'd be nice if the quick connects would shut off when disconnected from anything.

A little practice and you will get better at leaving the bladder lower than the end of the tube before you disconnect the filter. I rarely get things wet anymore, but it used to happen all the time when I first got the filter inline because I would forget

Another option is not to bother with the hydration tube hole in the backpack, and just run the hose with filter up through the cinch cord on the top of the pack. Makes it quicker and easier to get it in and out that way.

I employ both options, depending on how heavy/bulky my pack load is, and also how plentiful water is in the area. If there is lots of water around I don't always haul a full 3L around at a time, but that does mean stopping and dipping the bladder more often...everything is a trade off.

FYI, USPlastics has the auto shut off quick connects for about $5.

I though that was a little pricey so I just have been connecting to the drink tube first then dipping

They have the straight thru for less than that even.

Those of you that have the badlands bladders will need the 3/8" barb. The coupling end of the quick connect is the same whether you have a 3/8 or 1/4 barb.

I also plan to use a Sawyer inline with a Source 3L bladder with the QD built into the hose/bladder. This should make for a quick, mess free refill of the bladder.

I back flush at the end of the season before I put the filters away, using the kitchen sink adaptor that came with the filters. It's kind of a messy endeavor, so if you decide to try it run the warm water slowly and put a dish towel around it so if you have overspray it doesn't go all over the kitchen I find the back flushing satisfying because you can see the crud run out of the filter and into your sink, and I think it does slightly improve the flow rate. But it wasn't terribly slow to start with. I mostly back flush in the interest of storing gear as cleanly as possible during the off season.

Really should have listened to this advice - got to spend 20 min cleaning water off my kitchen wall, window and vaulted ceiling....doh!!!

how fast does this gravity filter 3L? I tried it with tap water and it was going really fast, although i am sure this is not an accurate representation......i am still getting used to this thing, i like the concept but not in love with my setup, still playing around with different setups and i leave for my hunt in a week

Probably around 3-4 minutes I'm guessing. Haven't timed a full bladder yet but it's not long!
