I am going to buy a sawyer filter and just like everything in life, not every product fits the bill for everyone. I am leaning toward the squeeze or mini. I am thinking that I will use this in a gravity type of system mostly. Thought and ideas please. Thanks

Skip the "system". Just buy the filter and attach it to your favorite bag. I use a 3 liter platypus and it works great. There have been numerous complaints about the hardiness of the bags used by sawyer as well. As mentioned above there are numerous links on the backpacking sites discussing the system.
