I have a Stocky's NextGen Ultra Carbon™ Hunter Composite Accublock® Stocks Savage 10/110 for a short action BOTTOM BOLT RELEASE, m24/sendero inlet in Strata camo pattern. It was on a Savage ultralite with bottom bolt release chambered in 300wsm. Was on a few range sessions but never hunted.

I had it on a ultralite with bottom bolt release.
I don't know if it works on a top bolt release

How did you like it? I have the same gun and would love to know what you ended up getting to replace this. I’ve been eyeing the stockys stuff but haven’t pulled the trigger on anything yet.

I am selling the stock because I'm trying to get some funds to build a custom rifle.

Stock with a Savage ultralite in 300wsm with talley rings and a Nightforce NX8 4-32X50 loaded weights 8lb 9.4 oz

This stock was on a 6.5cm savage ultralite a 300wsm savage ultralite and a 6.5prc ultralite. Never hunted with just range sessions.

The factory bottom metal, trigger gaurd and factory mag it needed from your original stock to complete the stock.

@Mitchell Cross weight was about 2oz but a lot stiffer stock. I had it on 3 different savage ultralite's that were shooters and a slightly tighten the groups up. Hard to judge an ultralite I haven't ran one that wouldn't shoot

Yea my 6.5prc shoots lights out as it is. Makes me hesitant to change out the stock, but the factory one doesn’t feel great.

My 300wsm ultralight shoots great as long as it doesn’t have a brake on it. I’ve tried two different brakes and my friend with the 6.5 prc had the same results with adding a brake. Shoots like a 5” group at 100 with a brake. But without its dialed. Any thoughts…?

@Jfjfrye I ran the same brake on 3 different ultralites with all of them being shooters. Made by Anarchy Outdoors

Do you know the make and model? Did a smith install it? And did it come already made to the perfect diameter? I’m worried my factory stock is making contact with the barrel or something…. Did you use an after market stock every time?

Thank you. Did you always use it with the stockys stock? Or did it perform well with the accufit as well?

@Jfjfrye the picture shows 2 groups one with the factory stock and one with this Stocky's stock.
Top group is 2 shots almost in the same hole with the Stocky's stock the lower is the factory stock. 100 yard target 1 inch square 300wsm 165gr Accubond hand rolled

Beautiful work man. And thank for answering my 20 questions. I’ve been trying everything to get a brake to work on this wsm.
My last effort I think will be to try this radial style.

What are you running the 165s on top of?

I just ordered some 165s to try.
