Inwas just fixing to order a tikka roughtech, but that savage ultralight at 800$ is pretty tempting.

I had an Ultralight for about 6 days. Paid 1200 or something for it (this was a few years ago). It shot great, but that floppy stock and action that felt like it was full of gravel just wasn’t doing it for me. I spent a bunch of time polishing and cycling it trying to smooth it out. Got a little better, but much worse than the other savages I had. Traded it off for a used stainless Tikka that I wanted for a donor. Felt great about it at the time and never regretted it.

Yeah, I usually end up regretting chasing a deal instead of getting what I wanted, but the ultralight was my 2nd choice anyhow.
I'll probably end up with the roughtech lol
